Your New Look Harrisons Direct - Launching Soon!

On Wednesday 13^th September, we will launch a brand-new look website which will offer a better user experience to our customers while providing the opportunity to add new and exciting features going forward.

The move to a completely new platform will mean faster loading times, more responsive designs, simplicity of use and a streamlined checkout process, all of which will offer a better experience for our customers.

Read on for important points regarding the new site, along with a showcase of new features we know you’re going to love!

Order History & Accounts

Order History

As the website is moving to a new platform, it does mean your order history will unfortunately not carry over. Please ensure any previous orders you would like to refer to are printed or saved before Wednesday 13^th September. Product reference numbers will be staying the same so it will be easy to search and add your favourite products to your basket.

Please also note that existing baskets will not carry over to the new site. To ensure you retain the items you want, please place your order prior to the switch over.

Accounts

All account emails, usernames and passwords will be carried over to the new site, so upon your first visit you should be able to login as normal. If you do encounter any issues, please contact our customer service team:

Existing default billing and delivery addresses will also be migrated to the new site, you will be able to view these within the ‘My Account’ section under ‘Address book’ and add any additional addresses here or at checkout.

New Features

New and Improved Checkout

During checkout, the process will now be split into three separate sections – Billing, Delivery and Payment. With seamless transitions between sections, entering your billing and shipping addresses will be easier than ever.

Your basket, a subtotal, delivery cost, VAT and order total will follow you throughout the checkout stages, which will allow you to keep track of spending and costs throughout the whole process.

Adding Products to Basket

One of our favourite new features is on a product page when you want to add to your basket. For example, if you scroll on the page and decide it is a product you would like to purchase, you will simply be able to choose your quantity and click ‘Add to basket’ from the fixed header as shown below.

Product Information

We will now include the POR% on every product page based on our recommended selling price. This new feature will allow you to select the best products for you and your business.

Product Categories

Work has been carried out on the categorisation of products. Categories have been streamlined and we have a new, easier way of navigating them. When you click into a main category it will now automatically showcase all products within that category. To filter further, simply click the drop-down menu to the left-hand side and choose a sub-category.

Brands

Looking to shop a specific brand? There will be a dedicated brands page, arranged alphabetically, to help you navigate quickly to the products you’re looking for.
